I found the following photos in a few of the blogs at Colette Patterns. I love reading how many of the great designers got their start working in Hollywood, designing for major film stars of the early 20th century.  The clothing is beautiful and many of the designs timeless!

On a completely different topic, while cruising around the net, I discovered that during the ’60s and ’70s, Simplicity produced a line of patterns to suit fuller figured youngsters, which they termed “Chubbies.”
